If there is one thing I have learned since moving to Dallas Texas is, they don’t mess around when it comes to their meat, steak in particular. Every other corner there is a steakhouse, with a full parking lot. One in particular caught my eye because no matter what day of the week there is ALWAYS a packed lot, and pretty people pouring in and out of it, so naturally my curiosity was peaked and I finally decided to give it a shot.
Nick and Sams is a Dallas staple. Upscale steakhouse in Uptown Dallas, with vibes that are unmatched. Very swanky setting with a poppin’ bar scene! (imagine eating the best steak you ever had and the Migos come on) It’s got quite the dynamic, in one room it is a very formal setting, perfect for business or a date night, and then the bar room has the upscale amenities with local bar vibes. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made every guest feel like a VIP. If you have been looking for a reason to bust out that little black dress, Nick and Sams is just the place to do so!
Dim lit atmosphere, with a large wine and scotch selection. I of course opted for my favorite, a Titos ( gotta rep Texas) EXTRA dirty martini with blue cheese olives.
Calamari was simply fried with an aioli dipping sauce and marinara. The fresh caprese said was one of my favorites with fresh mozzarella and basil.
The long bone rib eye. Let me just say, pictures don’t even do this justice!
“And it’s not even my birthday…..cake cake cake cake” (in my best Rihanna voice)
I opted for something on the more “casual” side of the spectrum, because I knew we were going to head to a dive bar after dinner and wanted something that was flexible for both atmospheres. Was dressed perfectly for the bar area (not that I couldn’t sit in the main dinning room, I just felt this was more bar appropriate). Make sure if your in the Dallas area or plan on coming to Dallas you check them out, you won’t regret it! And remember to #dressresponsibly
